Your pension will be paid on the 6th day of each month directly into your bank or building society account. If the 6th of the month falls on a weekend or a bank holiday your pension will be paid on the last working day before the 6th .
Your pension is usually paid monthly in advance. For example, a payment made on 6th February would be the payment for February, not January.
