Could you be our next Member-Nominated Director?

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!

We’re looking to appoint two or three new reserve Member-Nominated Directors (MNDs) for the Kingfisher Pension Scheme.

A reserve MND needs to be a member of the Kingfisher Pension Scheme. MNDs provide a member’s point of view to help the Trustee reach balanced and inclusive decisions.  Our reserve MNDs will go on our Trustee Board once there is a vacancy.

You can watch our video below on what being a member nominated trustee is all about.

You can also read an interview with our Chair of Trustees Clive Gilchrist here.

If you’re interested in applying for the vacancy you will need to complete an Application Form and send this along with nominations from two scheme members to CorporatePensions@kingfisher.com

The Trustee cannot appoint members who have previously been disqualified to act as a trustee, for example, an unspent conviction involving dishonesty or deception or an event of bankruptcy.

What does the Selection Committee do?

The Selection Committee will be responsible for selecting and recommending the appropriate reserve MNDs on behalf of the Trustee.

The Selection Committee will include:

  • Two existing MNDs.
  • Our independent Trustee Chair.
  • A senior member of the Group Pensions team.
