Transfer of the administration of the KPS-FS pension scheme from Hymans to Aptia from 14 November 2025

24th October 2025

What’s happening?

We’re transferring the administration of the KPS-FS pension section from Hymans Robertson LLP (Hymans) to Aptia UK Limited (Aptia), effective 14 November 2025.

Why is this happening?

We’re confident that Aptia will provide an excellent service to you.

Who are Aptia?

Aptia are experts in pensions administration and are committed to providing an efficient service with great outcomes for members and policyholders.

Will my pension entitlement change?

Your pension entitlement is in no way altered by the change of provider from Hymans to Aptia.

Is the administrator for the KPS-MP scheme with Legal and General changing?

No, Legal & General will continue to be administrator for the Money Purchase Section of the Kingfisher Pension Scheme.

Do I need to do anything?

You don’t need to do anything; the transfer of the pension services from Hymans to Aptia will be arranged automatically.

How will you let members know about this change?

We’re writing to all members of the Scheme on 24 October 2025.

What if I have an enquiry before 14 November 2025?

There will be a transition period from 28 October to 14 November 2025 as work moves between Hymans and Aptia. To minimise disruption, please only contact Hymans during this time if you consider your request is urgent. For non-urgent matters, please reach out to Aptia after 14 November 2025.

Telephone (Monday-Friday 9a.m. – 5p.m.): 0800 121 6644 or pensioners can call 0141 566 7640.  Calls may be monitored and recorded.  Please have your National Insurance number to hand.

Email: kingfisher@hymans.co.uk

What is the transition period?

To allow a smooth transition of services, there will be a transition period between 28 October 2025 and 14 November 2025. Aptia will take on administration from 14 November 2025 so any post, email and telephone requests (including quotations, settlements and retirements) received within the transition period will be handled by Aptia once administration commences on 14 November 2025.

From the start of the transition period, PRISM, Hymans’ secure online portal, will become read only. You will be able to use it to contact Hymans, but you won’t be able to transact. In early December, you will be given access to OneView, Aptia’s secure online portal (see “How can I access OneView” later in the FAQs). For any members in receipt of pension payments you will be able to view your payslip online within OneView once you are in receipt of your credentials.
